Can plants feel?

So I'm watching myth busters and they are talking about how plants can feel pain and read minds. They hooked it up to polygraph and it looks like plants can feel pain....not so much read minds. It might kinda know that your going to hurt it but not read your mind. Very weird and yes not really a great subject to start my blogs off with....but I needed something to talk about.
